River Day is a celebration of the Hudson River and its tributaries. Mankind’s relationship to the rivers throughout history and up to the present will be explored. Visit Van Cortland Manor and stop by the Beczak table to gather fun facts and touch artifacts from the Hudson!

Second Saturday Family Program – Catch of the World

Ages 5 & up
$5 / person (non-participating adult chaperones are free)

If you ever wanted to fish in the Hudson, now is your chance. Bring the family to Beczak and experience a day as a Beczak educator. You will have the opportunity to wear chest waders while dragging a 30-foot seine net through the water to catch and touch the exciting animals that lurk along the shoreline in Yonkers, then compare the “catch” to other species around the world.
