Flower Festival

Celebrate May at Philipse Manor Hall for live entertainment, fresh flowers and baked goods, environmental activities and crafts, and a swing around the maypole.  Beczak will participate once again in this event organized by Yonkers Downtown Waterfront Business Improvement District, in collaboration with other local community groups.  Check www.yonkersdwbid.com for details on happenings at the other locations.

Lunchtime Learning for Adults - Hudson River Estuary

Adults will have the opportunity to learn about Hudson River geography, estuaries, watersheds, tides, wetlands and pollution by participating in demonstrations using Beczak’s one-of-a-kind Hudson River Estuary Model.

Second Saturday Family Program - Hudson River Creations

Create your very own Hudson River creation just in time for Mother’s Day!  After learning about the Hudson River and Palisades, pick a nice shady spot in the park to create your very own perspective of the Hudson.

Riverlovers Shadfest 2008
