Session 1: July 12 – 16, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily, for ages 10 – 12, $350
Exploration and adventure on the river
The centerpiece of this week is a trip on the AJ Meerwald, an historic oyster schooner. Campers board this tall ship, haul the sails aloft and set sail! Plus kayaking on the Hudson, hiking in the Palisades, Catch of the Day Seining and more.

Session 2: July 19 – 23, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily, for ages 7 – 9, $350
Young naturalists experience the greenest fun in the valley
Children visit Yonkers’ own floating urban farm and learn how to grow food without land. A visit from Dr. Ben and the BioBus—a transit bus turned microscope lab—lets young scientists see life at a cellular level. PlusCatch of the Day Seining and visits with nature animals and birds.

Session 3: July 26 – 30, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM daily, for ages 5 – 6, $250
Science discovery, stories and games
Children explore science and the natural world through books, crafts and Beczak’s backyard. In small groups led by trained educators, campers will enjoy Catch of the Day Seining, visits with native fish and animals, and special features from PBS television series “Sid the Science Kid”.
