Beczak needs your support to meet the growing demand for environmental education in the Hudson River Valley.

The success of our award-winning programs has been recognized by many organizations, ranging from well-know educational and environmental groups to the state and federal governments. But the greatest measure of our success is in the support we receive from people like you, members of the community.

Matching Gifts

Many companies will match their employees' gifts to nonprofit organizations. Ask your Human Resources Department if your employer has a matching gift policy. If so, please get a Matching Gift form and initiate a match. We appreciate your extra effort, which doubles your donation. Thanks!

Planned Giving

Remember Beczak in your will. Your legacy will help insure the Center can continue its mission into the future. A gift by will or bequest is totally deductible for estate tax purposes. Consult your attorney when drawing up or revising your will to ensure your intentions are carried out properly. Please notify Beczak of your bequest intentions. Commonly used language for a charitable bequest follows:

Residual Bequest - This grants the residue, or portion of the residue, of your estate to Beczak after explicit bequests have been made:

"I give to Beczak Environmental Education Center, Inc., a non-profit organization located at 35 Alexander Street, Yonkers, NY 10701, all (or ____ %) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wheresoever situated."

Specific Bequest – This is for a stated dollar amount or specific securities:

"I give to Beczak Environmental Education Center, Inc., a non-profit organization located at 35 Alexander Street, Yonkers, NY 10701, the sum of ____ dollars (or describe the specific property or security you intend to give)."
